Priv.Doz.Mag.Dr.Gerhard Tucek
a Socio-Cultural anthropologist, educationalist and a registered music therapist is presently the Program Director of Music Therapy at the Department for Health Sciences at the IMC University of Applied Sciences in Krems, Austria . He was the Program Director for Oriental & Ethno-Music Therapy in Austria until 2009.
He is a lecturer at the Medical University of Vienna and the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna. He is the founding and board member of IMARAA(International Music and Art Research Association, Austria and a founding member of the International Association for Music and Medicine. Since 2009, he is the coordinator for musictherapy programmes in Lower Austria Health and Social Fund-NOGUS and responsible for developing therapy- and research-programs in 27 clinics. He is Organiser of the World Congress of Music Therapy in Krems,  Austria in July 2014 and is also in the editorial board of Journal Music Therapy Today.

Dr. Jorg Fachner
Educationalist, and Social Scientist holds a PhD in Medicine. He was senior research fellow at the Chair for Qualitative Research in Medicine at Witten/Herdecke University. There he did EEG research on music perception and consciousness and co-edited an international eJournal (MusicTherapyToday)and info-site on music therapy research and practice (MusicTherapyWorld) He was senior researcher at the Finnish Centre of Excellence in Interdisciplinary Music Research. His EEG research in music therapy focused on depression and stroke.

Currently, he is Professor, Music, Health and Brain at Anglina Ruskin University, Cambridge, UK. He published many journal articles and book chapters. The latest book publication from 2010 is entitled 'Music Therapy and Addictions' was edited together with D. Aldridge and published at Jessica Kingsley Press in London, Uk. Currently he serves on the World Federation of Music Therapy as Chair, Publication Commission. 

Dr. Lucanne Magill
DA, LCAT, MT-BC, MTA is Music Therapist, Seasons Hospice, San Bernardino, California, and serves on Academic Board, Chennai School of Music Therapy. She was formerly International Course Tutor and Internship Coordinator, The Music Therapy Trust India/Nepal, and Assistant Professor and Coordinator, Music Therapy, University of Windsor, Canada. She has been a professional music therapist for 38 years, specializing in oncology and palliative care, and developed the Music Therapy Program at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center under the auspices of the Pain and Palliative Care and Integrative Medicine Services. She also served as music therapist for Cabrini Hospice, NY, NY. She has supervised numerous interns within the US and from overseas, and conducts research, publishes and lectures internationally. She serves on the Editorial Board for two journals and is Founding Member of the International Association of Music and Medicine. She is Chair, Education and Training, World Federation of Music Therapy.
Dr.Helen Shoemark
PhD RMT, is a music therapy clinician, researcher and educator. She is currently a research fellow at the Murdoch Childrens     Research Institute in Melbourne Australia, and a senior clinician at The Royal Children’s Hospital Melbourne. Her area of clinical practice and research expertise is Newborn Music Therapy. Appointed as Adjunct Professor by the University of Queensland, she teaches research methods and supervises theses.

As an Honorary Senior Fellow at the University of Melbourne, she is acknowledged as an excellent clinical researcher. She has published more than 30 articles and book chapters. She is the Associate Editor of the Australian Music Therapy Journal and on the editorial board of the Journal of Music Therapy. Helen is a past national president of the Australian Music Therapy Association.

Dr. Parin N. Parmar
is Assistant Professor in pediatrics, KT Children Hospital, P D U Government Medical College, Rajkot, Gujarat and  has an M.D. in pediatrics from the same college. He also has a diploma in Allergy & Asthma from Christian Medical College, Vellore.  He has had a brilliant academic career and  started playing key-board since the age of 7. He  is a composer of western symphonies and fusion music.  He has published articles in international journals in the field of pediatrics and  has a keen interest in psychology, spirituality and Indian traditions with a scientific perspective.

Dr.Baishali Mukherjee
PhD in the field of Music Therapy for children with autism spectrum disorder from National Centre for Autism Studies,(Scotland), University of Strathclyde, United Kingdom. MA in Psychology with specialization in Experimental Psychology from University of Calcutta. She is trained in Hindustani Classical Music and Indian classical dances (Bharatnatyam and Odyssey). She is a Faculty and Research Associate at Chennai School of Music Therapy, Chennai.

Presently music therapy consultant  in both of Asha Rehabilitation Centre and Asha Integrated School for Children with Autism in Bangalore. She was trained and had a wide exposure in music therapy research and practice from Nordoff Robbins School of Music Therapy, London; Department of Psychology, Edinburgh University, Scotland; and Bangor University, Wales during her course of PhD.

Arnab B. Chowdhury
Third generation from a family of musicians and a holistic education at Sri Aurobindo International Centre of Education (Pondicherry, India), ensured Arnab’s prowess for lateral thinking and application. He is trained in Hindustani classical (tabla) and Western classical (piano).
At XTCsound Lab (MIT Media Lab, 'Music, Mind and Machine Group', Boston-Bangalore), as Computer Music Researcher delving into music and the cognitive investigations describing it, he composed with Csound and was a member of 'Karaoke-on-Demand Machine' project, ranked among the top 25 inventions from MIT Media Lab.
Arnab works with therapists and medical practitioners to compose music that can heal. He has performed as an artist and held workshops for music therapists in India and recently at the World Congress for Music Therapy, Austria, July 2014.
